We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Operative to join our team. Responsibilities
* Assist in the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
* Operate machinery and equipment as required, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
* Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Support the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Report any issues or concerns regarding equipment or processes to management promptly.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently when required.
* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement.
* Physical fitness is necessary, as the role may involve lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
