Location: Southampton
Pay: £13.75 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm
Start Date: ASAP (subject to vetting)
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistants to work within Special Educational Needs settings in Southampton.
This is a temporary role initially. For the right candidates who settle in well, schools are keen to discuss permanent opportunities.
The Role
* Supporting children with a range of Special Educational Needs
* Working closely with teaching staff to support learning, behaviour, and emotional development
* Providing one-to-one or small group support
* Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
Requirements
* Applicants must be aged 20 or over
* A minimum of 2 years' work experience in any sector
* Prior experience in a school or care setting is beneficial but not essential
* Available to work 5 days per week
* Able to work from 8.30am to 3.30pm
* Passionate about supporting children with additional needs
* Willing to complete required safeguarding and vetting checks
