We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Procurement Manager, to lead the development and deployment of supply chain solutions that will support the delivery of our pioneering SMR programme. Role Purpose To establish and lead cross-functional purchasing teams, creating and sustaining the right collaborative environment to ensure supply chain solutions meet the needs of current and future business programmes. You will manage partnerships and product categories from initial requirements through the life of the contract or partnership. Key Results & Achievements Development and execution of supply chain strategies aligned with RR SMR business objectives. Lead procurement campaigns ensuring delivery against time, cost, and quality constraints. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement and best practice across procurement activities. Key Selection Criteria Supplier & Category Management Proven experience managing suppliers or partner organisations, ideally in highly regulated environments (nuclear, power generation, aerospace, automotive, petrochemical). Ability to lead and influence external organisations to deliver optimal solutions. Strategy Development Experience deploying strategies to achieve business needs, recognising global opportunities and regulatory environments. Team Leadership Manage and develop a high-performing supply chain team (up to 4 direct reports), fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Stakeholder Management Strong communication and influencing skills across engineering, commercial, manufacturing, and project management functions. Training & Qualifications Essential: Degree or equivalent experience. Ideal: MCIPS qualification, APM accreditation. Engineering or nuclear-related qualifications would be beneficial. Desirable Qualities Excellent planning and project management skills. Strong commercial acumen and global outlook. Proven experience in category management and strategic sourcing.
