Fleet Sales Manager – Field Based (North East & Scotland)
Isuzu Truck (UK) Ltd is looking for a proactive and results-driven Fleet Sales Manager to join our team. This field-based role focuses on developing and maintaining business relationships with National Fleet, Regional Fleet, and Municipal & Utilities Customers across the North East and Scotland. The role involves identifying new sales opportunities, managing an assigned territory effectively, and supporting the Isuzu Truck dealer network.
Working closely with the Regional Sales Management Team, this role also requires market analysis, competitor awareness, and ensuring customer needs are met with the right product and service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential fleet customers.
* Identify and secure new business opportunities through strategic prospecting.
* Structure weekly schedules with a balance of customer visits and administrative duties.
* Analyse regional sales opportunities to ensure efficient time and resource management.
* Qualify customer requirements and prepare tailored commercial proposals.
* Maintain accurate records in the Fleet Sales Opportunity Tracker and Master Fleet Sales Customer List.
* Work closely with key Dealer personnel, including Dealer Principals and Sales Managers, to maximise engagement and sales potential.
* Support the Regional Sales Management Team with market analysis, competitor activity, and pipeline management.
* Oversee and manage customer vehicle orders to ensure timely delivery.
* Liaise with bodybuilders and ancillary equipment suppliers to maintain production timelines.
* Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports.
* Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth customer management.
* Ensure compliance with financial processes, including forecasting and following up on payments.
* Represent Isuzu Truck (UK) at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings.
What We Are Looking For
* Proven Sales Experience – Experience in Fleet Sales, B2B Sales, or Sales Management within the commercial vehicle sector.
* Strong Business Development Skills – A proactive approach to identifying and securing new clients.
* Excellent Negotiation & Relationship-Building Abilities.
* Results-Driven Mindset – Focused on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Competent IT Skills – Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Full UK Driving Licence – Essential for this field-based role.
