For over a century we've been helping former servicemen and women deal with issues like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression. Today we provide specialist treatment and support for veterans from every service and conflict, focusing on those with complex mental health issues related to their military service. We provide a range of community, outpatient and residential mental health services to veterans with complex mental health problems. We provide services in-person, and via phone and online. About the role: The role will include managing a complex case load of veterans with co-existing mental health, physical health and drug and alcohol problems. The role will work in partnership with the Inter Disciplinary team, attending multi-agency reviews, completing full clinical assessments for veterans on various treatment pathways who require support around their drug and alcohol use. As a specialist Nurse this will also include completing structured mental health and substance misuse interventions to assist and promote recovery. Leading and supporting other members of the inter disciplinary team, you will provide high quality nursing interventions to veterans. The post holder will work in a small team, carrying a case load of more complex patients, who have co-existing conditions. This role is subject to a DBS check.
