You would be joining established Corporate groups with a strong focus on private equity-led transactions, acting for leading sponsors, portfolio companies, and major corporates. The teams are typically compact, collaborative, and fast-paced, with a consistent pipeline of cross-border work and a reputation for technical excellence.
The Work
As an NQ, you can expect to be involved in:
* Private equity transactions, including buyouts, exits, and investments
* Public and private M&A
* Growth capital and venture capital deals
* General corporate advisory matters
Given the structure of these teams, junior associates are given meaningful responsibility early on, with clear development pathways and close partner mentorship.
Candidate Profile
These roles are best suited to trainees qualifying in September 2026 who:
* Have completed at least one seat in Corporate, ideally with exposure to private equity
* Have trained at a well-regarded City or international firm
* Are technically strong, and have a sound academic background
* Are motivated by the opportunity to step up in terms of deal quality, responsibility, and compensation.
