We’re working with a long-established and highly respected supplier of print finishing technology, representing some of the world’s leading manufacturers across the UK & Ireland. To support continued growth, the business is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically minded, customer-focused engineer who thrives in a varied role - combining hands-on servicing, installations, operator training, and customer demonstrations.
The ideal candidate for this role will be based close to the motorway network, for ease of travel, and be a qualified electrician or have industry equivalent experience.
The Role
* Install, service, maintain and repair print finishing equipment across customer sites
* Provide operator training and demonstrations to support sales activities
* Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose faults, and deliver solutions efficiently
* Represent the company with professionalism, acting as a trusted ambassador on-site
* Flexibility to travel across the UK (occasional overnight stays required).
The Person
* Electrical engineering background (qualified or with equivalent hands-on experience, from the print industry or other transferable background)
* Previous experience working with print finishing machinery as an engineer (binding, stitching, folding, laminating, guillotines etc.) highly desirable
* Strong troubleshooting skills and IT literacy
* A customer-first mindset with excellent communication skills
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Ideally located within reasonable distance of the motorway network (M25, M1, M11, M3, M4, M40)
