About Intermarine
Intermarine has been designing and building pontoon systems since 1992, specialising in the design, supply, and installation of pontoons, marinas, and moorings for leisure and commercial sectors. We offer standard and customised solutions in concrete, aluminium, and steel, with projects mainly in the UK and Europe, and some further afield.
Role Overview
We seek a motivated individual, ideally a time-served electrician transitioning into project management, to join our team. The role offers opportunities in estimating, sales, site project management, engineering design, and product development.
Candidate Requirements
* 2+ years post-academic engineering experience or 5+ years in trade/construction
* Trade background (Electrical or Mechanical), experience in site/facilities management preferred
* Strong leadership and project management skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
* Knowledge of site safety processes (RAMS, audits)
* Basic understanding of electrical/mechanical drawings
* Ability to manage detailed reports
* Full UK driving license and personal vehicle (business mileage paid)
* Knowledge of coastal/marine environments
* Degree in relevant engineering field
* NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH
* 18th Edition Electrical Certification
* COMPEX Certification
Key Responsibilities
* Organise and execute planned maintenance programs
* Review RAMS and supervise subcontractors
* Investigate technical issues and support reporting
* Plan and monitor maintenance projects from scope to delivery
* Communicate with stakeholders and prepare updates/presentations
* Evaluate completed works and recommend improvements
