Role Overview
As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. You will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, handle all front desk operations efficiently, and support our leisure and hospitality services including restaurant reservations, spa bookings, gym memberships, and Gamex enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet guests with professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality.
* Handle check-in and check-out processes using Opera PMS efficiently and accurately.
* Handle guest enquiries and provide accurate information about hotel facilities, restaurants, spa, gym, and Gamex activities.
* Assist with reservations for rooms, dining, spa treatments, and leisure activities.
* Answer telephone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
* Process payments, manage invoices, and handle billing queries.
* Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Address guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
* Promote hotel services, upselling where appropriate (e.g., spa packages, restaurant specials, Gamex experiences).
* Ensure the reception area is tidy, organised, and welcoming at all times.
Requirements
* Previous experience as hotel receptionist is mandatory.
* Proficiency in Opera PMS (essential).
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Professional appearance and positive attitude.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
