Overview

Maintenance Technician – 12-Month Contract (Inside IR35)

Cpl Life Sciences are seeking an Engineering / Maintenance Technician for a 12-month contract in Liverpool. This role involves supporting both planned and reactive maintenance activities across manufacturing equipment while ensuring full compliance with HSE and cGMP standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Troubleshoot recurring issues and support process improvements
  • Use CMMS to record maintenance activities and manage spare parts
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with site procedures
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety and cGMP culture
  • Support training, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives

    • Requirements:

  • Engineering apprenticeship required; HNC/HND preferred
  • Hands-on experience in maintenance within a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and proactive approach
  • Ability to work independently once trained
  • Good numeracy, literacy, and communication skills

    • Shift pattern: Days (4 on/4 off)
