We're working with a well-regarded secondary school in Winchester to recruit a School Receptionist to join their busy front-of-house team. This School Receptionist role is the first point of contact for visitors, parents and students, so it requires a friendly, professional and organised individual.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced School Receptionist or Administrator looking for a term-time role with structure, variety and a strong team environment.
The School Receptionist role includes:
Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents and pupils
Managing incoming calls and responding to queries
Handling the main school inbox and directing enquiries appropriately
Signing visitors in and out in line with safeguarding procedures
Supporting general admin tasks across the school office
Assisting with student queries and day-to-day school operations What we're looking for:
Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role (school experience desirable)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident IT skills (Microsoft Office and school systems beneficial)
Calm, professional manner in a busy environment
A team player with a positive and approachable attitude Working hours:
Monday-Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm (45-minute unpaid break)
