This organisation delivers complex, safety-critical projects across power generation and wider utilities, combining deep technical expertise with long-term project delivery and stability.
This is a hands-on Lead role, combining technical delivery with team leadership. You'll take ownership of electrical and control system designs, guide engineers through the full project life cycle, and act as a key technical interface with customers and project stakeholders.
The role
1. Lead and drive electrical, control, and instrumentation design activities
2. Act as technical authority, reviewing and approving designs produced by the team
3. Produce and oversee system designs including schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and design packs
4. Design and review PLC-based control panels, cabling systems, MCCs, drives, and switchgear
5. Interpret customer specifications and develop compliant, fit-for-purpose solutions
