Personal assistant to a member of staff who is neurodivergent, working autonomously to provide a high standard of comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to them. Carries out day to day work within University/School policy guidelines. A significant element of the work will involve complex and sensitive tasks carried out on behalf of the academic; handling and maintaining confidential records and sensitive information. Liaises with other colleagues and research projects within the Chemistry Department, School, Management Services Team, the wider School of Physical Sciences and international research partners.
You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality administration to ensure the delivery of an efficient quality service that supports operational goals. Working at the heart of a vibrant and diverse academic environment, you will collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders to provide a responsive, inclusive, and customer-focused service that reflects the University's commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
This post is part time (14 hours per week) and is fixed term until 31 March 2028.
