Department of Engineering Science, Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3PJ About the role The University of Oxford’s Department of Engineering Science is recruiting a motivated and organised Project Administrator (0.4 FTE) to support the Hub in All-Spectrum Connectivity (HASC) – a major national programme advancing future telecommunications. Working closely with the Programme Manager, you will coordinate key project activities, support reporting processes, assist with information management, event organisation, liaise with stakeholders, and help ensure the project runs efficiently. You will have strong organisational and administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality support in a fast-paced research environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant research programme within one of the world’s leading universities. As Project Support Officer for the Hub in All-Spectrum Connectivity (HASC), you will play a key role in supporting the effective delivery of a major national research initiative. You will coordinate project activities, maintain accurate documentation, assist with financial administration, organise events, and act as a key liaison between academic and industry partners. Working closely with the Programme Manager, you will help ensure that the project runs smoothly and meets its objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and innovative research environment within one of the world's leading universities. About you You are a proactive and organised support officer with experience in providing high-quality support within complex organisations. You have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. You are confident working both independently and as part of a team, with experience coordinating project activities, maintaining accurate records, and supporting events. Familiarity with financial administration processes and stakeholder liaison would be an advantage.
