A friendly and inclusive primary school in Warrington (WA5) is seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team after October half-term. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on school experience, develop classroom skills, and make a meaningful impact on pupils’ learning and development.
Role Overview:
* Support teaching and learning under the guidance of the class teacher.
* Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce key learning objectives.
* Assist in preparing resources, classroom displays, and learning materials.
* Provide encouragement, motivation, and guidance to pupils to help them thrive.
* Support children with additional learning needs to ensure equal access to learning.
* Contribute to creating a positive, engaging, and well-managed classroom environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply.
* Hold a degree (preferably in Education, Psychology, or a related field).
* Have a genuine passion for working with children and supporting learning.
* Be patient, caring, and adaptable, with excellent communication skills.
* Have experience working or volunteering with children (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
