Job Description:
We are seeking two Mechanical Design Engineers to join our team, specializing in the design of heavy industry equipment, large-scale vessels, and tanks. This role will involve developing innovative mechanical solutions, creating detailed 3D CAD models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineered products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop large-scale vessels, tanks, and associated heavy industry equipment.
* Produce detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings.
* Perform engineering calculations and stress analysis.
* Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility.
* Support projects from concept through to production.
Requirements:
* Degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* At least 3 years’ experience in designing heavy industry components, vessels, or tanks.
* Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Inventor, SolidWorks).
* Strong understanding of materials, fabrication, and welding processes.
* Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Desirable Experience required for this role (Not essential):
* P&IDs and Plant and Equipment Specification
* Pressure Vessel design to PD5500/EN13445
* Some process knowledge would be an advantage
