Roperhurst Limited is part of the SCPS Group and we are seeking an experienced Laminator/Installer to work within our production environment, working from engineering drawings the candidate must prepare thermoplastic surfaces for lamination, mix and consolidate resins, cut, measure and hand lay up fibre glass matting to a high degree of finished quality.
Summary
We are seeking a Laminator/Installer to join our team in South Wales (Barry) area. This role is vital in ensuring the successful lamination of safety critical solutions that support our company's mission of delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
* Prepare the surface of thermoplastic materials for Lamination.
* Mix and prepare resins, coatings and paints for application, finishing components according to predetermined specifications.
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Fabricate and assemble parts as required for projects.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
* Ensure quality standards are met throughout the lamination/installation process.
* Follow safety protocols at all times.
* Assist with welding or fabrication tasks if necessary. (training provided)
* Qualifications
* Proven experience and competence in using resins and hand lay up of fibreglass sheeting.
* Knowledge and use of hand tools.
* Ability to read technical drawings and Lamination instructions.
* Experience with assembly, installation and lamination processes.
* Knowledge of plastic welding is a plus.
* Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

* Working hours ( 4 Days Week)
This is a full time position of 36 hours per week, this consists of 4 days 7.30am til 4.30pm with a rotating day off. THIS IS A 4 DAY WEEK.... Your day off rotates every week, Monday this week, Tuesday next week etc
Additional hours will be paid at the company overtime rates
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
