What You Will Be Doing
We are looking for a confident and organised Warehouse Team Leader to support the business in leading day-to-day operations. You will line manage a team of 5 warehouse operatives, playing a key role in driving team performance, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining high standards across stock accuracy, order fulfilment, and safety. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who leads by example and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Job RequirementsWorking Pattern
* Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
* Varied shifts between 8:00am and 8:00pm, Monday to Friday
* Occasional weekend work and overtime opportunities are available
* A forklift licence would be advantageous
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have…
* Proven experience in a warehouse environment with supervisory or leadership responsibilities
* Strong team leadership and communication skills
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Experience with stock control processes and warehouse systems
* A hands-on approach to coaching and supporting others
A valid forklift licence is desirable but not essentialJob ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
* Line manage a team of 5 warehouse operatives, providing daily direction, support, and development
* Lead, coach, and motivate the team to achieve productivity and accuracy targets
* Lead by example in pick, pack, and dispatch operations—actively participating alongside the team to ensure speed, accuracy, and high standards are consistently met
* Conduct and oversee regular stock counts—accuracy is essential
* Ensure efficient processing of inbound and outbound shipments
* Support with shift planning and resource allocation to meet operational demands
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment, enforcing health & safety protocols
* Onboard, train, and develop new team members
* Act as a key escalation point for operational issues in the absence of the Warehouse Manager
