Job Duties:
* Provide tailored educational support to Key Stage 2 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges
* Develop individualised learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students
* Implement effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate students
* Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students
* Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as needed
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with SEN and SEMH students in an educational setting
* Knowledge of the UK national curriculum and relevant teaching methods
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Key Stage 2
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of SEN and SEMH needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student requirements
* Effective classroom management skills
Working Conditions:
* Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
* Work primarily in learners homes, local libraries or schools
* Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
