Job Description: About the role
The post-holder would be expected to teach modules on several MEng/MSc programmes in the context of Robotics & AI and to contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of a high-quality curriculum and associated administrative tasks.
Areas include, but are not limited to: AI in Robotics; Electronics and Embedded Systems; Signal Processing; Mechanical Engineering; Mechatronics and Making; Reinforcement Learning, with interests spanning ground, mobile, aerial, underwater, and manipulation robots.
Applicants should submit two documents: a CV (max 6 pages) detailing teaching experience and responsibilities, and a single supporting statement (max 10 pages) including personal, teaching, research, and diversity statements.
This role qualifies for a skilled worker certificate of sponsorship or a global talent visa under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. UCL encourages applications from international candidates requiring visas.
Part-time, flexible, and job share arrangements will be considered.
The role is eligible for hybrid working with at least 40% on-site presence.

About you
You should hold a PhD in Robotics, AI, or a related field, with demonstrated expertise in core topics such as robotics, control, machine learning, sensor fusion, and real-world robotic system deployment.
