The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of TAVI care and will be supported in gaining experience of TAVI patient selection and preparation as well as trained in the technical aspects of the TAVI implant procedure.
Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of TAVI care and will be supported in gaining experience of TAVI patient selection and preparation as well as trained in the technical aspects of the TAVI implant procedure. If the successful candidate has the appropriate skills it is anticipated that this fellowship will be trained to the level of independent operator in the 12 month period. There will also be an opportunity to contribute to the percutaneous coronary intervention programme.
The post holder will take an active role in a number of research projects active in the TAVI service and in addition have responsibility for the active audit projects.
