The CHECS Integrated Front Door team is the first point of contact for concerns about a child’s welfare. Social workers here play a vital role in safeguarding by assessing referrals, carrying out initial enquiries, and working with multi-agency partners to ensure the right help is provided at the right time. This is a fast-paced, decision-focused environment where every action counts.

About the role:
1. Acts as the initial point of contact for concerns about a child’s welfare.
2. Triages incoming referrals and undertakes initial enquiries.
3. Works closely with multi-agency partners to make informed decisions.
4. Ensures children and families receive the right support and intervention at the right time.

About you:
5. You have experience working in a statutory children’s social care setting.
6. You can thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
7. You are registered with Social Work England.
8. You’ll bring strong analytical and decision-making skills to manage complex situations.
9. Previous front door experience is desirable but not essential - you’ll receive support and development to succeed.
