About the Role:
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Computer Science Teacher looking to inspire young minds? You will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of tech-savvy innovators. GSL Education is looking for a Computer Science Teacher to fill a position at one of our client schools in Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham.
Role of a Computer Science Teacher:
* Designing and delivering engaging lessons covering computer science concepts, from programming languages to algorithms and data structures.
* Providing hands-on guidance and support to students through practical projects and activities.
* Fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment where all students feel empowered to participate and excel.
* Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Staying updated with emerging trends in computer science and integrating them into the curriculum as appropriate.
Candidate Requirements:
* A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students from diverse backgrounds.
* A passion for computer science education and a commitment to professional development.
