Job Description
Interim Finance Director (Part Time) job with our Glasgow based SME client for an initial 3-6 month period working 3 days per week.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for:
* Setting up of finance processes and procedures for this small but growing multi-site business
* Preparing monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet accounts
* Producing annual statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
* Cashflow monitoring and forecasting and liaison with the bank
* Preparing budgets and forecasts with ongoing monitoring against performance
* Providing ongoing analysis to operational managers to support performance
* Assessing current systems and processes with a view to making recommendations and improvements for the future
* Supporting forthcoming M&A activity, integrating newly acquired businesses
To apply, you will be a qualified and experienced Head of Finance who has remained extremely hands on as this is a standalone role in Finance. You will ideally have worked in sme sized businesses and be comfortable in both delivering the business as usual whilst also implementing improvements on processes and procedures. This role offers flexibility and is a 3 day per week role. Day Rate: £80,000 p.a. pro rata to 3 days per week.
