We’re working with a well-established construction and civil engineering contractor who are looking to bring a Quantity Surveyor into their London team.
They have a strong pipeline of work across concrete repairs, structural repair and civils, and this is a good opportunity to get involved in a range of technically interesting projects within a busy and growing commercial team.
What you’ll be doing:
* Managing projects commercially from handover through to final account
* Carrying out valuations, variations and cost reporting
* Procuring and managing subcontractors and supplier relationships
* Supporting contract administration and commercial negotiations
* Working closely with site and operational teams to monitor progress and costs
* Identifying risks and commercial opportunities across projects
What they’re looking for:
* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or civil engineering
* Ideally exposure to concrete repairs, structural repair or similar specialist works
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contracts
* Able to manage workloads across multiple projects
