We are seeking a Housekeeping Manager to take full responsibility for the Rooms and Housekeeping Department at Marshall Meadows Manor House, a prestigious Four Silver AA Star country house hotel on the Scottish border.
Nestled within 12 acres of stunning grounds, our hotel features 27 beautifully designed bedrooms, luxury suites with hot tubs, and elegant public spaces. As Housekeeping Manager, you will ensure the smooth and efficient running of your department, consistently delivering the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort across the hotel.
What We're Looking For:
· Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager in a four-star, luxury, or high-volume hotel.
· A hands-on leader with excellent people management and motivational skills.
· A meticulous eye for detail with a relentless commitment to high standards.
· Strong organisational and administrative skills, including rota management and stock control.
· Experience working collaboratively with other departments to deliver seamless guest service.
· A confident decision-maker with the ability to problem-solve under pressure.
· Flexibility to work 40 hours per week across five days, including weekends (essential for this role).

Your Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the Rooms and Housekeeping Department, ensuring exceptional cleanliness and presentation in all bedrooms and public areas.
· Recruit, train, and develop a professional and motivated housekeeping team.
· Oversee rotas, scheduling, and staffing levels to ensure efficiency and consistency.
· Control stock levels of linen, cleaning products, and guest amenities, maintaining strict cost management.
· Carry out regular inspections of rooms and public areas, addressing issues promptly.
· Collaborate closely with the Reception and Maintenance teams to ensure a seamless guest journey.
· Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
