PhD Nutrition is a premium, active-nutrition brand for the active lifestyle community wanting intelligent nutrition to help them achieve their goals. With over 20 years of research and development, our products are designed to maximise performance in and out of the gym. It’s an exciting time for PhD Nutrition as 2025 will kick off an entirely new line up of brand ambassadors, from hybrid athletes to qualified sports nutritionists.
The two brands sell through the phd.com and scienceinsport.com digital platforms, third-party online marketplaces including Amazon, as well as extensive domestic and international retail distribution.
In 2022 the company opened a state of the art 160,000 square foot manufacturing and logistics facility in Blackburn, Lancashire. Providing a significant advantage in product costs and customer response time and most importantly, allowing Science In Sport to lead the way for quality standards.
Science In Sport is the nutrition partner to globally recognised elite teams, including Tottenham Hotspur, Saracens Rugby, British Triathlon, Aquatics GB, British Cycling, England Netball and Loughborough Sports. As well as being the Official Energy Gel Provider of RunThrough and the Official Nutrition Partner of Ultra X.
The Role
As part of the wider marketing and creative team, the Content Creator will plan, produce, and deliver compelling multimedia content, including video, photography, and social‑first assets. This content will power both Science in Sport, and PHD’s social channels. You will be hands‑on with creative production: shooting product and athlete content, editing videos, and crafting social media visuals that reflect our brand’s premium, scientific, and performance‑led identity.
The Content Creator will also be posting direct to our channels, packaging and crafting copy that helps promote the company’s performance nutrition story so that it resonates with endurance athletes, team sport players, and fitness enthusiasts worldwide.
 * Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent
 * Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
 * Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (may be required to work evenings and weekends)

The work – Your 4 most important responsibilities
 * Content Capture: Capturing content (stills, video and phone content).
 * Content Production: Turning captured content (as well as other owned content) into compelling and engaging posts, optimised for the channel it is published on.
 * Content posting: Scheduling and reactive posts across platforms.
 * Community building: Engaging with followers and comments to help build a community.
Accountability – what you are responsible for delivering
 * Plan, shoot, and edit engaging photo and video content for campaigns, products, and social media channels.
 * Work with sponsored athletes, ambassadors, and teams (and events) to capture authentic, inspiring content that reflects real performance.
 * Create short‑form and long‑form video content, including behind‑the‑scenes features, product demos, and athlete stories.
 * Manage shoot planning, including briefing talent, location sourcing, and logistics.
 * Support live event coverage and real‑time content creation at races, activations, and partner events.
Capability – the skills and behaviours required to do this job well
 * Proven experience creating digital content for a consumer brand, sports organisation, or creative agency.
 * Strong videography and photography skills – in particular a keen eye for lighting, framing, and composition.
 * Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects desirable) or similar.
 * Demonstrable experience in social‑first content creation (especially Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts).

 * Passion for sport, health & fitness, and performance culture — ideally with personal interest or experience in endurance or team sports
 * Experience working with athletes, influencers, or brand ambassadors.
 * Familiarity with content analytics and how creative choices impact performance metrics.
