Little Starts Gift Cards is the UK's leading gift card provider for baby, toddler, and preschool classes. Our gift card offers a wide range of children’s activities by partnering with top activity providers across the UK. Our mission is to make it easy for people to gift little ones and their grown-ups experiences rather than more things.
The Role
We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on Partnerships & Operations Lead to run the day-to-day operations of the business and strengthen our provider relationships.
This is a practical, execution-focused role for someone who enjoys:
* Building strong external relationships
* Improving processes and making things more efficient
* Managing multiple moving parts
* Working closely with our directors and agencies in a small, ambitious team
This is a 9–12 month fixed-term contract with a clear intention to transition into a permanent role, subject to performance and business needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
Partnerships & Provider Management
* Build and manage strong relationships with our activity providers
* Act as the main day-to-day point of contact for partners
* Identify, sign up, and onboard new activity providers in line with our brand values
* Manage relationships with key sector organisations such as: Children’s Activity Association (CAA), Institute of Children’s Activity Providers (ICAP), British Franchise Association (BFA)
Operations & Delivery
* Run the day-to-day operations of the business
* Maintaining and improving internal processes and SOPs
* Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues
* Ensuring a seamless partner and customer experience
Performance & Growth Support
* Reviewing partner performance and engagement
* Supporting inbound partnership and corporate enquiries
* Following up on sales leads
* Producing monthly partnership, activity and sales reports
* Flagging risks or gaps early
* Proactively suggest and implement process improvements
About You
Essential
* Strong experience in operations, partnerships, or account management
* Highly organised with a hands-on, execution-focused approach
* Confident managing external partners and agencies
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Comfortable working independently in a small, fast-moving team
Desirable
* Experience in children’s activities, gifting, or consumer brands
* Experience in a start-up or small business environment
* Exposure to PR or marketing delivery
* Ideally within commuting distance of Southampton for occasional in-person meetings
