Simply Education are looking for an experienced SENCO to join our clients school in the Market Harborough area. Our clients school support students aged 5-19 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. With a capacity of 72 students, their vision is to create a safe, enriching and aspirational environment where every learner can thrive As SENCO, you'll play a central role in shaping the SEND provision and ensuring every pupil's EHCP outcomes are delivered and tracked. Working closely with the Headteacher, you'll oversee interventions, staff training, and the development of strategies that make a real difference to our learners. Your responsibilities: Managing referrals and the pre-admission process in partnership with the Business Development team and families. Leading on SEND policy and provision, ensuring statutory responsibilities are met. Coordinating and deploying resources, staff, and therapies to meet individual needs. Preparing for and participating in annual reviews and case conferences. Driving best practice through CPD, mentoring, and coaching staff. Supporting the Headteacher with strategic development and school improvement plans. Essential Qualifications & Essential Experience: QTS/QTLS or equivalent. Leadership of a significant area or phase or inclusion, including responsibility for raising standards across the whole school. Effective team management and collaborative working. Strong communication skills across a range of audiences and mediums. Successful management of complex scenarios and conflict resolution. Proven ability to work effectively with a range of external agencies.
