The Role: We are urgently seeking a high-caliber Business Studies Teacher for a critical 12-week placement at a leading Croydon academy. With the academic year reaching its peak, we need a specialist who can hit the ground running and provide stability for our Year 11 and Key Stage 5 (Year 12 & 13) students during their final push toward exams.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and rigorous Business Studies lessons to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students.
* Support Year 11 and Year 13 students through their final assessments and exam preparation.
* Maintain a positive, disciplined learning environment in line with the academy's proven behavioral systems.
* Plan and assess work (where required) to ensure continuity of learning during this 12-week period.
Requirements
* A-Level Expertise: You must be confident and capable of teaching Business Studies at Key Stage 5 (Sixth Form).
* Economics Specialism: The ability to teach A-Level Economics is highly desirable and will be a significant advantage.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Or equivalent recognized teaching qualification with a background in Business/Economics.
* Strong Classroom Management: Experience working in an urban, multi-cultural school setting.
* Availability: Must be able to commit to the full 12-week block starting late March.
