You will report directly to the Operations Director, and your role will involve working within Water and Water Recycling Non-Infrastructure to manage Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability aspects, with responsibility for CDM compliance for all delivered construction work. 1. Lead construction activities across large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with programme strategy and milestones.
2. Drive safe, efficient, and high-quality construction methods, including offsite and industrialised techniques.
3. Collaborate with design, procurement, and delivery teams to ensure constructability and reduce on-site time.
4. Develop construction phase plans, manage risks, and oversee health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
5. Monitor performance, costs, and progress, working with planners and cost managers to forecast and report.
6. Facilitate project rehearsals and activity planning to optimize sequencing and identify constraints early.
7. Support commissioning and asset handover to Anglian Water Operations seamlessly.
8. Lead, develop, and manage construction teams, ensuring performance aligns with project goals and alliance behaviors.
9. Champion innovation and continuous improvement by incorporating new techniques and standardized approaches where appropriate.
