Teaching Assistant – Croydon
Pay: £14.17 – £15.55 per hour
Contract: Temporary (until the end of the academic year) with the potential for a permanent contract
We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive primary school in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in a positive learning environment where children are ambitious and the school community is supportive and nurturing.
What you’ll be doing:
Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access the curriculum
Assisting teachers with classroom activities and differentiated learning tasks
Helping create an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
Supporting pupils with their social, emotional, and academic development
Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to support pupil progress
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience supporting pupils in a school or educational setting
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred
Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
