Commercial Litigation Solicitor / Associate
Location: Multiple offices across the East of England & East Midlands (flexible)
Salary: Up to £70,000 (DOE)
PQE: 1-5 years
Full-time – Permanent

An ambitious and growing national law firm is looking to strengthen its Commercial Dispute Resolution team with the appointment of a Solicitor or Associate.

The Team
You’ll be joining a close-knit but highly capable Dispute Resolution, supported by dedicated legal support staff who work directly within the department. The team combines technical strength with a collaborative, down-to-earth culture and take pride in delivering excellent outcomes for clients.
The Work
You’ll handle a broad range of commercial disputes, regularly involving complex and high-value issues, including:
* Disputes arising from commercial agreements
* Insolvency-related contentious matters
* Franchise disagreements
* Insurance coverage and liability disputes
* Partnership and shareholder conflicts
* Mediation and other ADR processes
Clients include owner-managed businesses, family enterprises, high net worth individuals and larger organisations, with matters that are often high value and technically engaging.
The Role
You will play an integral part in the continued growth of the team, with responsibilities including:
* Managing your own varied caseload of commercial disputes with appropriate supervision
* Advising clients on both litigation strategy and ADR options
* Supporting partners on more complex and high-value matters
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Contributing to business development and raising your personal and team profile
The Candidate
* A qualified Solicitor with solid experience in commercial dispute resolution
* Strong knowledge of court procedures and ADR processes
* Confidence managing clients and running matters with increasing autonomy
* A team player who is motivated, organised and keen to contribute to growth
* An interest in business development and building long-term client relationships
