Role
Sitting within the Group Strategy & Development team, the Group Communications Manager is responsible for shaping and delivering Xodus' global communications strategy, spanning both internal engagement and external market positioning.
The role drives an integrated, insight-led approach to communication across our regions, business units and service lines, ensuring alignment to group priorities and consistent, compelling positioning of our brands (Xodus, Evolv Energies and Daymark Energy Advisors) in a global market. It plays a central role in translating strategy into clear, engaging narratives that support business growth, strengthen client relationships and enhance employee engagement.
Furthermore, the role champions and enables collaboration across the business, enhances communication effectiveness and supports strategic initiatives through high quality, targeted messaging to both internal and external audiences.
Primary Responsibilities
Communications
* Develop and deliver a strategic internal communications plan aligned to business priorities, with clear KPIs and measurable outcomes
* Partner with senior leadership to translate strategy into clear, engaging and consistent messaging for colleagues across regions and business units.
* Lead the planning and execution of key internal communications activity, including leadership updates and change communications.
* Oversee and evolve internal communication channels (including intranet), driving innovation and continuous improvement.
* Strengthen employee engagement by delivering compelling content that builds awareness of strategic priorities and reinforces our culture.
* Support crisis and sensitive communications, ensuring timely, clear and effective messaging.
Marketing
* Support the planning and execution of integrated external communications and marketing campaigns that enhance Xodus Group visibility and support business growth.
* Develop high quality, engaging content for digital platforms including LinkedIn, website and campaign materials.
* Work closely with technical, BD and leadership teams to shape compelling external narratives and thought leadership.
* Monitor campaign performance, drawing insights to optimise communications effectiveness and ROI.
* Ensure all external communications are aligned with brand guidelines and position the business consistently in the market.
Integrated Communications & Stakeholder Engagement
* Act as a key connector across the business, bringing together internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver cohesive campaigns.
* Build strong relationships across leadership teams, functions, and geographies to influence and deliver impactful communications.
* Work with external agencies and partners to bring campaigns and initiatives to life.Identify and lead new opportunities to enhance communications impact through innovation, tools and channels.
Performance, Insight & Continuous Improvement
* Track and report on communications effectiveness across internal and external activity, providing insight-led recommendations.
* Evaluate campaigns and initiatives, ensuring learnings are captured and applied.
* Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and high performance within communications.
Role Requirements
* A hands‑on approach with a can‑do attitude along with a desire to help others succeed in a team environment
* Proven experience in a communications, marketing or corporate affairs role, ideally within a complex or global organisation
* Strong capability across both internal and external communications, with an understanding of how they work together to drive impact
* Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, able to tailor messaging for different audiences and channels.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders, delivering at pace without compromising quality.
* Commercial awareness and curiosity to understand how communications supports business growth
* Strong analytical mindset, using data and insight to inform decisions and improve performance.
* A proactive, solutions‑focused approach with a drive to innovate, improve and enable our business.
