We’re now looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Supervisor to join us on a fixed-term basis until March 2027, leading our Accounts Payable function and supporting a small, dedicated team in delivering an accurate, efficient and customer-focused service. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys improving processes, supporting people and bringing organisation and structure to a busy finance environment. Alongside overseeing day-to-day accounts payable activity, you’ll play an important role in supporting ongoing system and process improvements across the team. What you’ll be doing Day to day, you’ll: Lead and support a small Accounts Payable team Oversee invoice processing and supplier payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Resolve supplier and colleague queries in a professional and supportive way Monitor accounts payable activity and maintain strong financial controls Review transactions, coding and approvals Support process improvements and help identify smarter ways of working Assist with finance system improvements and changes Work collaboratively with teams across the organisation Help maintain accurate records, compliance and audit trails What we’re looking for We’re looking for someone who is organised, approachable and solutions-focused, with experience in accounts payable or finance administration. You’ll ideally have: Experience working within an Accounts Payable or Purchase-to-Pay function Knowledge of financial controls and finance processes Experience supervising or supporting a small team Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and a collaborative approach Confidence using finance systems and Microsoft Office It would be great if you also have: Experience improving finance processes or procedures Experience supporting system changes or migrations Experience within housing, public sector or not-for-profit environments Why join ClwydAlyn?
