Parts Assistant Dursley Salary 28k-29k DOE 33 days Holiday INC bank holidays Job Purpose: As a Parts Assistant, you are responsible for sourcing accurate parts to support daily operations across service, production, and workshop teams. This role ensures that all parts are correctly identified, ordered, and delivered on time, while maintaining close coordination with other departments. Key Responsibilities: Accurately identify and source parts based on job specifications, technical requirements, and vehicle builds. Raise purchase orders in accordance with company procedures, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement. Liaise with suppliers to confirm availability, lead times, and pricing, securing the best value for the business Work closely with the Parts Assistant in Stores and Fulfilment & Despatch to ensure smooth goods-in and stock allocation. Communicate proactively to resolve part discrepancies, delays, or substitutions. Assist in reconciling stock discrepancies and updating inventory systems with accurate data. Support the replenishment of workshop consumables and ensure parts are issued correctly to technicians and engineers. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery notes, and supplier communications. Uphold health & safety standards within the stores and warehouse environment.
