Main duties of the job

Due to an increase in clinical activity within our service we are looking for a passionate and dedicated RN to join the team. A flexible attitude is required to deliver patient care and meet service demands. It will be an advantage if you have post registration experience as a theatre scrub practitioner, however full support & training will be given in Plastic surgery.
As a Band Staff Nurse you will contribute to the smooth running of the department, acting as a role model for junior team members. You will work closely with both the Department Sister & Deputy Sister, managing the day-to-day activity within the unit. We aim to provide a service tailored to individual patient needs as well as ensuring staff are supported through clinical supervision, educational programmes and on-going professional development. We actively support nurse-led activities and research, offering opportunities for professional and personal development.
