This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing school from its early stages and play a meaningful role in shaping provision for secondary-aged pupils with SEND and SEMH needs. The school supports learners with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health challenges, with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed practice, consistency, and positive relationships. As a SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs, working closely with support staff and specialist professionals to ensure every pupil can access learning and make progress. You will be expected to create a calm, structured classroom environment, implement behaviour and regulation strategies, and contribute to personalised learning plans. This role would suit a teacher who is resilient, reflective, and passionate about inclusive education. You may already have experience within SEND or SEMH settings, or be a mainstream teacher with a strong interest in transitioning into specialist provision.
