Job Title: Senior Marketing Executive - 6280
Salary: £34,500 - £39,500 per annum
Location: Cambridge, Hybrid (expectation of 2 days per week in the office)
Contract: Full time, 12 month fixed term maternity cover
We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to join our busy Subject Marketing team in an exciting maternity cover role.

About The Role
As a Senior Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of a range of marketing activities to support our prestigious Law books list. Collaborating with colleagues across various publishing functions, you will create and execute high-impact global marketing campaigns, while providing an outstanding service to our authors. This varied and busy role provides an experienced marketer with the flexibility to manage the list using their own creative flair and experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Planning and executing marketing campaigns to ensure that products reach target markets and meet sales/usage targets. Activities include email marketing, social media, content creation, search marketing, advertising, and events
* Evaluating and reporting on campaigns using analytics, combined with customer sales and usage data
* Managing your subject budget
* Engaging in contact acquisition activities to grow internal database of marketing contacts
* Managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear two-way communication from product development through to marketing strategy
* Representation of the organisation at external events, including academic conferences and book launches, providing a professional, customer-facing profile for the business
About You
* An experienced marketing professional with at least 2 years' relevant experience
* Excellent written/verbal communication, copywriting, copyediting and proofreading skills
* Highly organised, adept at managing multiple demands/deadlines, with a proven ability to think creatively and trouble-shoot
* Exceptional delegation skills, an agile mindset and adaptability to change
* Comfortable working autonomously, with the ability to forge effective and collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders
* A professional marketing qualification is desirable
* Experience in the book publishing sector would be advantageous
