Job Title: Health Care Assistant (HCA) – Nursing Home (Agency Role)
Location: Slough and Windsor-SL2, SL4
Rate: 12.71/hr
Job Type: Flexible / Temporary / Bank Shifts
About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Health Care Assistants to support residents in a local nursing home. This agency role offers flexibility and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a professional care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting residents with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
* Supporting mobility and daily activities
* Helping with meals and hydration
* Observing and reporting any changes in residents’ health or behavior
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
Skills and Experience Required:
* 3-6 months previous care experience in the UK is required
* A caring, patient, and respectful approach
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
* Enhanced DBS certificate dated within one year
* Relevant care qualifications are a bonus (NVQ Level 2/3, Health & Social Care)
