Job overview
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Lead Teacher of Economics to join our existing Economics team on a full‑time basis. The role involves ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and assessment and supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality teaching and learning in Economics.
* Maintain high standards of assessment and student progress.
* Ensure positive outcomes in personal development, behaviour and welfare.
* Contribute to curriculum development and improvement.
* Support the wider school culture and professional learning.
Qualifications
* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Good honours degree with experience of teaching outstanding lessons in Economics.
* Experience in a secondary school environment.
* Strong commitment to high standards of teaching.
