This is an exciting time to join Clifford Road Primary School. We are looking to appoint a part time Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our dedicated and supportive team at Clifford Road and to help us make a meaningful difference to the pupils and their community. This role is well suited to an experienced practitioner or an Early Careers Teacher.
We would like to hear from you if you have:
* KS1 or KS2 experience with KS1 preferred at present
* a proven track record of recent and successful class teaching
* successful experience of teaching the primary curriculum
* good understanding of current theory and best practice in teaching and learning, particularly as it relates to achieving high rates of progress of children of primary age
* good subject knowledge of core National Curriculum
* experience supporting pupils who speak English as an additional language
* a strong knowledge of the teaching of Early Reading
* strong communication skills and experience of working collaboratively

We are a 2-form entry school with 401 pupils on roll and 30 children in our nursery at the heart of the vibrant town of Ipswich.
