Role
As a Senior Integration Engineer, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to apply your engineering expertise to highly technical, highly regulated environments where precision matters. You’ll collaborate with design leads, engineering teams and specialist stakeholders, influencing the way complex systems are designed, coordinated and delivered.
Day-to-day, you’ll help bring major engineering programmes together by ensuring systems, facilities, and processes integrate seamlessly across our large‑scale defence infrastructure projects.
* Support the interface management process across integration deliverables.
* Coordinate and review Product Breakdown Structures and maintain the System Interface Matrix.
* Lead and facilitate Integration Workshops and Interface Review Meetings with design teams and design houses.
* Liaise with operational and design stakeholders to ensure system and facility requirements are fully understood.
* Work with BIM Coordinators to identify spatial interfaces and constraints within the federated model and maintain the Interface Reference List for reporting.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days per week In the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
Essential experience
* Knowledge of process optimisation and human interface management.
* Civil construction site experience.
* Experience developing Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) or managing procedural information - Desirable
* Experience within submarine maintenance or production engineering in a dockyard environment - Desirable
* Ability to engage and collaborate effectively with technical and operational stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
* Chartered Engineer status (or working towards), registered with the Engineering Council
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
