Staff Process Engineer II / III
Role Overview:
Deliver high-level process engineering design within proposals, studies, projects, and operations, ensuring compliance with standards, schedules, and budgets, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Job scope (budget, management, specific criteria):
Activities dedicated to a specific project, including:
* Analyzing project specifications and requirements.
* Developing design parameters and methodologies.
* Preparing technically correct, safe, environmentally friendly, cost-effective engineering analyses and solutions, including PFDs, heat & material balances, MSDs, control schemes, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, utilities and chemicals consumption summaries, simulations, and calculations.
* Supporting all project activities from engineering to start-up.
* Interfacing with other disciplines and design teams.
* Assisting in developing process knowledge databases.
* Participating in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.
* Reporting activities within project management.
Qualifications and Skills:
* University degree in chemical engineering.
* Knowledge of process design methods and tools.
* Initial experience in Oil & Gas Processing, Refining, or Petrochemicals, preferably with an engineering contractor.
