Delivery Postie with Driving
Job reference: 337715 | Location: Blandford Forum Delivery Office, DT11 7DN | Job type: Permanent contract | Hours: 37 hours per week (5 days a week, Monday to Sunday). Shifts: 07:00‑15:00 for letter deliveries or 10:00‑17:30 for parcel deliveries. Sunday requirement: one in three Sundays, 08:30‑16:00.
Responsibilities
* Deliver letters and parcels on assigned routes.
* Operate within the two shift windows (07:00‑15:00 or 10:00‑17:30).
* Work one in three Sundays during operating hours 08:30‑16:00.
* Adhere to all Royal Mail safety and customer service standards.
About You
* Upbeat, independent, and self‑motivated.
* Organised, punctual, and committed to delivering great customer service.
* A people‑person, friendly in the community.
* Comfortable walking long distances and working outdoors in all weather.
* Strong community spirit and pride in work.
* Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
