We're looking for a Waste Operative who will deliver excellent service standards, lead with a safety first attitude while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.

Location: Unilever, Coal Road, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England LS14 2AR
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off & 2 days on and 2 nights on
Role Responsibilities
Collect, move, sort, process, and dispatch waste and materials across one of Europe's biggest deodorant factories.
Load/unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste safely and efficiently.
Respond to adhoc client requests and maintain cleanliness through regular litter picks.
Complete daily equipment check sheets and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental policies, and waste legislation.
Lead and champion a safety first mentality.
What We're Looking For
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks safely.
Valid UK driving licence and willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
Manual handling training and strong literacy/numeracy skills.
Excellent timekeeping, attendance, and a diligent, safety-first mindset.
Desirable: experience in the waste industry and use of balers/compactors.
Valid forklift truck licence.
Team player with a can do attitude when asked to support colleagues.
