As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
1. Need expert clinical skills and demonstrate judgment in assessing and managing wide-ranging and complex patient problems.
2. Provide clinical leadership for the mental health team. This multi-disciplinary team is made up of a variety of registered and non-registered professionals including mental health and substance misuse practitioners.
3. Act as a role model, ensuring professional appearance and maintaining professional standards at all times.
4. Support senior clinicians on site; you will be part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients.
5. As a clinical expert in your field, work with the team to ensure patient safety, management of complex cases, and that the most up-to-date treatment methodologies are applied to patient care.

* Registered professional with current registration (NMC, HCPC)
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development
* Masters in Advanced Practice or equivalent

* Excellent communication skills
* Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP, and national standards
