Post No. EDSCH01464.2.1 - Teaching Assistant Level 2 - St. Gabriel's RC Primary School The Headteacher and Governors of St. Gabriel's Primary School are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant (Level 2) initially on a fixed term basis, commencing on the 1st September 2026 (or sooner if possible). This post is offered on a part time basis of 32 hours and 30 minutes per week, over 39 weeks per year (pro rata for the length of fixed contract and term time only). Hours of work will be Monday to Friday: 8.30am - 3:30pm. Please note that holidays must be taken outside of term time. You will be expected to have experience of working with children within a school setting. A nurturing, positive and caring attitude is an essential part of this role, as well as being able to work as part of a team. The appointment process will involve an interview with members of the school leadership team and a selection of Governors.
