Why us?
Media Borne is building the North East's first Virtual Production Hub, combining real-time Unreal Engine environments with multi-camera green screen workflows. We are developing a space for local and regional creatives to bring their stories to life while lowering production costs and reducing turnaround times.
We need a Production Manager who can keep everything running smoothly: from overseeing shoots in our virtual production suite to scheduling crews, managing resources, and ensuring productions meet the highest creative and technical standards.
This is an opportunity to shape the way virtual production workflows are embedded into regional TV, film, and digital-first IP — and to be part of the growth of a unique creative facility.
About us
Founded in 2018, Media Borne is a Newcastle-based team with a track record in digital-first production, live-streaming, and immersive formats. With the creation of our new Virtual Production Hub, we're scaling into original content production, talent development, and regional capacity building.
Our three creative pillars are Entertain, Educate, and Inspire, and we're looking for someone who can deliver projects that reflect these values while ensuring smooth operations across people, technology, and creative processes.

* Team Leadership: Supervise internal staff (including Junior Editor, Production Technician, and freelance crew) and ensure everyone is aligned.
* Health & Safety: Ensure safe working practices in studio and on set.
* Client Liaison: Act as a point of contact for clients during production, balancing creative requests with technical realities.
* Reporting: Contribute to Innovate UK project milestones and post-project case studies by documenting production outcomes.
