We have an exciting opportunity for an empathetic and compassionate individual who is keen to combine their skills, experience and qualifications in physical activity with making a difference to people’s lives. At Big C, we are dedicated to supporting the whole person. While our Support and Information Officers provide emotional support, our Health Academy focuses on physical activity and wellbeing — but naturally, these go hand in hand. During exercise sessions and wellbeing events, your ability to listen and respond with empathy will be just as valuable as your exercise expertise. This is where you would come in! You would work alongside our small but dedicated Health Academy team, developing and delivering educational activities, including Walking Football, Get Moving, and a host of wellbeing events. Qualifications We are ideally looking for someone with a Level 4 Cancer and Exercise Rehabilitation qualification. We know this is quite a specialist qualification, so if you have the capability, passion, commitment, and willingness to learn, we are committed to supporting the right person to complete this training. There are other skills and qualifications that will help you thrive in this role too, and you’ll find the full list in the job description. But if you’re excited about the opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
